Mrs. Oura

My name is Jane Oura. I graduated from California State University Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.  I have been with the Deer Valley Unified School District for over fifteen years.  I have been an instructional assistant in developmental preschool, a certified substitute teacher, a special education teacher in developmental preschool, and a first grade teacher.  My teaching certificate is in Special Education with endorsements in Early Childhood Education and Structured English Immersion.  I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and doing crafts – all kinds of crafts!  My favorite part of working with children is doing hands-on activities!  I love to see children jump in and become part of the learning experience.  Our learning environment is built on respect, collaboration, and fun!
